Summer Stars: Deep Dive 2024 will offer current K-8 New Rochelle students an opportunity to engage in non-traditional learning experiences. We are excited to execute Summer Stars: Deep Dive 2024, focused on academic enrichment and social-emotional learning, with a camp-like experience. The blended model will serve Elementary and Middle school students from July 8, 2024, through August 8, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.
To provide an interconnected community experience, we will offer enrichment programs at four sites: Jefferson Elementary School, Columbus Elementary School, Ward Elementary School, and New Rochelle High School.

Families who register for Summer Stars: Deep Dive 2024 will receive an email from PowerSchool identifying their status as either accepted or waitlisted. If you have not received the email or inadvertently deleted it, please email rbhojwani@nredlearn.org with your child’s name, grade, and school building.
Registration is open from February 1st, 2024, through February 29th, 2024.
Transportation to and from Summer Stars: Deep Dive 2024 will be provided in accordance with Board of Education policy, which states that students who live more than 1.5 miles from the school site will receive transportation. Transportation applications will be emailed to the email address used for the lottery when the student is accepted.
The program will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
Students accepted in the program will engage in Project Based Learning (PBL) experiences, enrichment activities, individualized instruction, Social-Emotional Learning during the morning, and “camp-like” afternoon activities.
Aftercare is offered at some sites through our community-based partners.
Lunch and snacks will be provided to students.
Community-based organizations will lead afternoon activities. More information will be provided at a later date.
