Columbus Elementary School

This project, Pinwheels for PEACE, began after 9-11 to help kids express and release feelings and frame it more as a mantra for a positive mindset. Ms. Paradiso’s class has organized this display on Columbus’ front lawn several times since the first display. All students are invited to participate. This month her class has organized a display to show support and well wishes for the people of Ukraine. It is called Pinwheels for Ukraine. The pinwheels display sunflowers, Ukraine’s national flower.
